1. Residence in Minnesota.
2. Significant contributions to Minnesota in one or more of the areas listed under CHF Funding Priorities: the arts, history, preservation and promotion of Chinese heritage and culture, well-being of Chinese seniors, and advancing the communication and mutual understanding with other communities of Minnesota.
3. Recognition of achievements by other organizations/agencies.
4. A distinguished role model and mentor for future generations.

Posthumous nominations are welcome. Couples may be nominated simultaneously. Self-nominations are also accepted. The decisions of the Advisory Committee will be final.
